We are looking to recruit new volunteer committee members to help shape the future of our wonderful nursery!

Garden renovation
From this...
...to this!
Phase 1 - Now complete!
Our previous nursery garden was in desperate need of renovation so we made a major investment to provide our children with a wonderful, safe, child friendly yet fun and stimulating garden to play in. This was also subsidised by our fundraising efforts.
We transformed the space by clearing the site and having artificial grass laid to enable us to use the garden all year round without worrying about damaging lawns or getting all muddy.

Our old pergola area had a facelift as we painted it, fitted a roof, activity panels and bench seats to create an outside play and learning space.

We also 'planted' 3 tractor tyres (thank you farmer Phil!) which the children enjoy crawling through, climbing on, weaving between and using to invent all sorts of games.

Phase 2
During the Autumn term will continue fundraising and developing the garden further. We will be having our very own bespoke wooden pirate ship made for our little buccaneers to 'sail' the seven seas on with all their fellow ship-mates .... Ahoy mateys!!!
We will also be having some wooden bridges made, some colourful animal silouhettes and other little additions to the area too.
Phase 3
Our final phase will be to add a 'luxury bug hotel' for all our creepy-crawly friends to live in, and raised beds to grow multi-sensory plants in to stimulate the children's sight, smell, touch and taste senses.
